Triumph Group, Inc. Selected to Provide Airbus A380 Top Skin Stringers

WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 21, 2002--Triumph Group, Inc. (NYSE:TGI) announced today that Ralee Engineering Company, a Triumph Group company based in City of Industry, CA has been awarded, by Airbus UK Limited, a contract for the manufacture and supply of the wing top skin stringers for the A380 aircraft.

The award includes 124 individual stringers per aircraft set and is for the "life of program."

Ralee Engineering, located approximately twenty miles east of Los Angeles, California, operates three facilities comprised of over two hundred thousand square feet under roof with thirteen multi-spindle high speed Cincinnati Milacron gantry's with length capabilities over 100 feet.

Ralee's primary product line consists of stringers, spars, longerons, beams, planks, webs, and ribs in both detail and sub-assembly fabrication. Ralee Engineering is a leader in manufacturing "large" precision structural aerospace and airframe components with state-of-the-art equipment, tooling, machine techniques, material handling and continuous improvement tools.
