Triumph Group Files Registration Statement for Public Offering of 3.65 Million Shares of Common Stock

WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 2001--Triumph Group, Inc. (NYSE:TGI) reported today that it filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission a registration statement for an offering of 3.65 million shares of common stock, including 649,997 shares being offered by a selling stockholder. In addition, Triumph intends to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 450,000 shares from Triumph to cover over-allotments.

This offering is being managed by Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and Merrill Lynch.

After the offering there will be approximately 15.4 million shares outstanding (approximately 15.8 million shares if the underwriters' over-allotment option is exercised in full).
